Description of how the anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases by sources are reduced below those that would have occurred in the absence of the JI project:
Greenhouse gas emissions from the chosen municipal landfill will be reduced below those that would have occurred in the absence of the JI project activity through the collection of the landfill gas and the subsequent destruction of the methane in a closed flare.
The emission reductions (ERs) to be achieved with the proposed project activity will be directly measured and then calculated according to the Monitoring Plan described in Section D of this document.
