Purpose of the project:
The project proposes to build and operate installations for extraction and subsequently flaring of methane gas at the landfill site in Kraskovo (Moscow Area).
Some basic information about the landfill follows:
The Landfill site is called Kraskovo and is located in the Ljuberetskij District in the Moscow Area near to the city of Moscow
Landfill owner: Moscow city
Owner of the property/ territory: Moscow Area
Operator of the landfill: Society with limited liability "Power and technology"
Legal form: "Power and technology" is the operator and tenant of the property / territory over a period of 49 years.
Totally dumped waste according to the figures of "Power and technology" (State 30.10.2007) since the year 1994:
MSW 4.167.650 tons
BR (bulky refuse) 219.350 tons
Free capacity: approx. 3.122.790 tons
Type of waste: 95 % Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
5 % Bulky Refuse (BR)
